A Round-About Path to Full Time Real Estate

Brian started his real estate journey part time while teaching youth in the classroom in Michigan in 2013. During that time his oldest son survived a battle with Ewing's Sarcoma, an aggressive cancer. After 4 years of serving clients while also teaching, in 2017 Brian made the difficult decision to leave education and pursue a full time career in real estate. Things were humming along and his business was growing along with his reputation for being a leader in the Detroit Metro area real estate market. 

In 2020, Covid shut down the world. Brian and his wife made the difficult decision to relocate back to North Carolina where they started their family many years ago so they could get their children a stronger place with a solid Christian community around them of like-minded, homeschooling Christian families. 

Since then, Brian took a short break form real estate while he learned life lessons selling high quality client-service products to fellow real estate agents. After two years of rubbing shoulders with some of the top producing agents across North Carolina, Brian decided he needed to be where his heart and passion and experience lies, serving clients as a real estate agent. 

Out of this was born Family Heritage Realty. As a reformed, paedo-baptist, post-millenial Christian husband and father, Brian is passionate about working with his clients to see and use real estate as a means to create generational wealth to pass down to their posterity. 

Whether it is helping a client acquire a Short Term Rental, unlocking equity by selling a client's home for top dollar, or working with first-time homebuyers who are tired of throwing their money away on rent, Brian loves helping families establish their Psalm 128 home.
